Commercial, Strata & Residential Serving Vancouver, North Van, West Van, & Burnaby

Join Our Rope Access & Restoration Crew

Allweathercoating is hiring in Metro Vancouver. We are looking for rope access technicians, window cleaners, waterproofing installers, and restoration workers who take safety seriously and want to build a real trade career on the city's towers.

We have been maintaining building envelopes in Vancouver since 1986. The crew is small on purpose: everyone learns the whole trade, works under certified supervisors, and sees the same buildings year after year. If that sounds better than being one of two hundred bodies on a megaproject, keep reading.

Why Crews Stay With Us

Plenty of companies will put you on a rope. Here is what working here actually looks like.

Home Every Night

Every job site is in Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, or Burnaby. No camps, no fly-in rotations, no living out of a hotel. You finish your drops and you are home for dinner.

Learn the Whole Envelope Trade

Window cleaning one week, concrete spall repair the next, membrane and caulking work after that. A small crew means real variety, and skills that make you valuable anywhere in the industry.

Safety That Is Not Just Paperwork

Dual-rope rigging to engineered anchors, written rescue plans, and full compliance with WorkSafeBC Part 11 fall protection. We hold a WorkSafeBC Certificate of Recognition and we do not cut corners at height. Ever.

Rope Hours That Count

Not certified yet? Hours worked under our IRATA and SPRAT certified supervisors are loggable toward your Level 1 and beyond. You earn while you build the logbook the certification bodies require.

Steady Local Work

40 years in business and 300+ buildings served means a standing book of strata and commercial contracts, not a scramble from one job to the next. Established companies keep crews working.

The Best Office View in Vancouver

Some days the job is 30 storeys over Coal Harbour with the North Shore mountains in front of you. No warehouse, no cubicle. If you love being outside and working with your hands, this is the trade.

Hiring Questions, Answered

Do I need IRATA or SPRAT certification to apply?

Certified rope access technicians are always in demand and go to the top of the pile. But you do not need a rope ticket to start. Ground crew, window cleaning support, waterproofing, and concrete restoration roles let you learn the trade first, and hours worked under our certified supervisors count toward IRATA and SPRAT certification when you are ready to test.

Where is the work located?

All of our job sites are in Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Burnaby. There are no camps and no fly-in rotations. You work on local towers and go home every night.

What happens after I submit my application?

We read every application that comes in with a resume. If your background fits a role we are hiring for, we will call you for a short phone conversation, then meet you in person. We keep strong applications on file for future openings even when nothing is available right away.

What kind of experience helps my application?

Construction, painting, caulking, concrete work, roofing, or window cleaning experience all transfer well. So does a climbing or rigging background. Most of all we look for people who show up on time, follow safety procedure without shortcuts, and take pride in finished work that a strata council will inspect closely.
